Description
Tylosin is a macrolide antibiotic , has a broad spectrum of activity against Gram +ve organisms and a limited range against Gram -ve organisms. Tylosin has a bacteriostatic effect on susceptible organisms, caused by inhibition of protein synthesis through binding to the 50s subunit of bacterial Ribosome.
Indications
An aid in the prevention & control of Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD) caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum, Mycoplasma synoviae in birds.
Dosage:
1 gm/ liter of drinking water for 3 days 25-65 gm/ ton of feed Or As directed by Veterinarian
